About Ms. Kwan

Ms. Kwan teaches H Biology, AP Biology, and Senior Seminar. She is also the Co-Coach for Academic Decathlon and the Math Science Technology Magnet Coordinator.  She spends her free time drawing, gardening, hiking, going to museums, and loves spending time with her two daughters. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Master's Degree in Education, both from UCLA. Ms. Kwan is a product of East LA and has been teaching at Lincoln for over 20 years. She loves to give student voice in her classes and challenge students to be critical thinkers with inquiry skills for lab activities and values cooperative group work. She has been trained in Botany, Marine Biology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Science curriculum.
