The Science Bowl Team helps students develop a stronger background in all of the sciences through intense academic preparation for competition revolving around knowledge of scientific concepts and principles. Students prepare through study, marine outings, star gazing, Cal Tech lectures and guest lecturers.
Science Bowl is a High School competition consisting of two teams of four students. Each compete to answer various science-related questions. In order to determine which student has the right to answer the question, a buzzer is used. Subjects include: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Energy, and “Earth and Space Science.”
Science Bowl team meats every Tuesday and Friday After School in room 704
